hey guys,
today our server crashed (i dont know why - some players told me) and after restart all xp seemed to be gone. the server was disableing save_xp by himself and i didnt know why till i found this in the wc3 error log file:

lookes like someone edited the code to allow the chameleon-race only when all other races are lvl10...
maybe an upcoming feature for the next release?
could be controlled by the cvar "wc3_races" - e.g. when set to 10

hmmm....und sonst....hast du mal in der modules.ini die ganzen modules ab "fun" deaktiviert? also ein ; davor geschrieben...

as it is a SQLite problem would it be enough to update the "sqlite_amxx.dll" (win) or "sqlite_amxx_i386.so" (linux) file in the "amxmodx/modules" folder?

did not have the possibility to test it on the server yet but the game should even start xD
anyone who could test this? would ...

google for the maps and you will find ~.zip files wich you (mostly) have to extrakt into your cstrike folder...when you're done you open your mapcycle file (you'll find it in the cstrike folder) and add the mapnames

btw how did you install wc3ft if you don't even know how to add maps? xD

may you could add a cvar called molespawntime or something like that wich allows you to set the seconds after buytime when the mole should spawn
and on "-1" it spawns like it does right now
and on "-2" its random between 3 and 7 sec

anyway...whatever you'll choose, keep an eye on how far you can ...

how to disable a full race on a specific map? sty i cannot tell you...
but i can tell you how to disable some skills on specific maps

go to:
.../addons/amxmodx/configs/war3ft/disable/

you will find 3 files in there:
item_gloves.cfg
skill_mole_shopzone.cfg
skill_orc_nade.cfg

in each you can enter ...

well at least you should enter your own steam id there, which is not STEAM_0:0:123456 i believe cause that one is a sample....
to find out whats yours open your console while ingame and enter "status" - your steam id will be shown next to your name

are you admin with flag "m" ? if yes, just type "war3menu" into the chat while ingame. a menu will pop up and you'll see a point named Admin or something like that (it's #5)
there you can give XP to the players

to save the xp you have to configure the war3FT.cfg (you'll find it in the folder addons ...

had the same using rc7 - it came up next to sqlite errors
at the moment im using rc8....will have a look on the error messages but havent found it yet...

btw i had this error with other numbers at the end - 12, 13, 14 and 15

achso du meinst wenn man sich absichtlich per ultimate taste sprengt, dass man dann keinen minus kill wegen dem selbstmord bekommen sollte sondern einfach dazugezählt wird wie viele man mit in den tod reist?
und der zweite punkt ist dann dass das opfer einen minus kill bekommen sollte anstelle eines ...

well....i think it would be more interesting to list the favorite maps which are played on wc3ft mod servers...so people who start a new server can see which maps are needed...

i specialy think of custom maps - no fun_ , fy_ , aim_ maps but de_ and cs_ maps...

an other point for doing this would ...

haven't heard about your second point yet but the ct mole with bomb is not a bug...
the bomb symbolices the defuse kit of the ct....so if you'ver got a defuse kit and mole you'll have a bomb instead of the defuse kit...

for example when saving to nvault in the old versions you could download the vault files...something equal possible with sqlite?

but that way some admin would have to be online till all his friends has been on the server...could take much time... so, if i coded right his friends don't have to wait for an admin and he can add more friends very easy
would be also interesting for clans and other ...

in your war3FT.cfg which you will find here: addons\amxmodx\configs\war3ft

if you want only special friends to use this ...

i think this is the wrong forum for this post cause the /top15 are not saved by the wc3ft plugin

whatever...you need to find the file where they are saved and than edit it with the correct editor...
at least it will be very complicated

may i am wrong but i remember this bug if you get too many XP - cause database gets too big...but, even if im right, that would not happen immediately after reaching lvl 10
and i think it happens only when saving XP by NVault...

does that mean, that - if you would get enough files - you may would start working on it again?
cause when you asked for the files first we just had an XP-restart and the files where very small...so, if you are still interested in it, i would upload them here

OR reset/update and use the new cvar wc3_start_level which you will find in your war3FT.cfg (v3.0 RC7)
may set it to 4 or 5 for a few days after the reset and most of your players will be happy, that they don't loose all of there XP...

had that problem with v3.0 rc5 after switching the xp-saving-mode to sqlite...
(my)solution: switched back to NVault ... (which one is removed in RC6)
so, if nobody has got a better way to fix this one, at least you could downgrade wc3ft to v3.0 RC5 and use NVault...no garantie on this but i think ...

good idea! i like it, cause sometimes the hud-info disappears and is not shown before you buy an item or a new round starts...

i had an equal problem with squlite on rc5 (lags, changerace not showing up - debug mode was "on") and to solve that i switched back to NVault and everything was fine again...
looked like it still saved the XP to the NVault-files but im not sure...

i think the problem is in line 4 and 5 of your plugins ini ... it says:
admin.amxx ; admin base (required for any admin-related)
admin_sql.amxx ; admin base - SQL version (comment admin.amxx)

sorry i'm new to "starting a online-server by my own" but isn't it enough to download and install steam, go to "games/tools" and install/start "dedicated server" for cs1.6 or "source dedicated server" for cs:s ?

i solved the problem!!
just tell me why is NVault removed in RC6 ? cause i just switched back to it and the XP (saved by SQLite before) stay, changerace-menu is opening and everything is fine!
is it possible that the SQLite function is just a second NVault saving method with a different name? xD ...

ok i just downgraded wc3ft to v3.0 rc3 and restartet the server but the funny thing is - you still aren't able to open this damn changerace menu!

i have got no idea what i should do now... maybe reinstall or another saving mode?

for some reason the ping is normal now (wasnt yesterday and i changed nothing....)

well but all the players are still unable to open the changerace menu but all other menus, so our server runs the normal cs1.6 with all the wc3ft shopmenu items...
even if its ... well ... funny we're losing players ...

i have binded "changerace" on a button -> nothing happend
"changerace" into chat -> nothing happend
going the way with war3menu -> nothing happend

well at least i did not want to wait 20min.....but in the 5min i was on the server no changerace menu opend...but the other menues like war3menu did

i just enabled the sqlite module in the modules.ini and now i have a new problem: changerace menu isn't shown....well and i noticed some people have got a "normal" ping (30-60) and others have not (100+)

well we ran the server with the same plugins before and there were no lags...
