i play on it ping around 70 so

Rofl, you can't just set the "max ping" .. What you're doing is setting the maximum allowed for players. If they're higher, they get kicked out.

And please, please, everybody don't try to argue. ferret is right, so don't start yet another ping/lag settings war.

For that, go to Running a Lag Free Server, they will be glad to fight back at you.
