Warcraft 3 MODs

Hi, I`m having a really weird problem :

I was setting up a new CS1.6 Server with wc3, doing so, i copied the "addon" folder from our existing server to my hdd, then, after installing stem on the root, simply transfering it back up again... of course having adjusted all the modules to amd64 instead of the windows dll`s. but the server wont come up ???? it keeps on spitting out this error msg :

FATAL ERROR (shutting down): Mod_NumForName: sprites/warcraft3/races/wc3_none_01.spr not found


what in gods name does this mean ? of course, there`s a sprite missing... but in the old server its missing as wel, and tht one is stil running ???

The server is running on sarge3.1,amd64lamp ... newest amxmodx and metamod also running without probs, jst wc3 wont ?

who can help me out ?

I think you should download 2.3.2 from here: http://war3ft.com/downloads.php and then copy the sprite folder on the server side. Why does it matter that it ran without the sprites on the old server. If the new server wants the sprites put them on there. I do not see what is troubling you.

Well, downloaded the 2.3.2, added the sprite file, then uploaded everything onto the server again... stil not workin... thts why it troubles me, cant see any logic explanation y it shouldnt run ???? the file wc3 is complaining about definately is there... but it cant see it or open ( chmod on 770 ) or whatever...

so yes, it is troubling me

wouldnt believe my story myself.... but its true...

file can't be there... or permissions can't be right...

u do ls -l and check owner?

owner of the file is another user is the ftpuser, the user i run the server with is a member of the group the file is owned by, chmod is set on 770...

I have no idea...

well.... resetting and reinstalling the os helped... seems like wc3ft doesnt like the newest metamod... working now. . .
