MySQL and SQLite(default) will be the only methods of saving

No. It creates the database in your game mod folder. It is set up like MySQL, but the server host is localhost.

well i never worked with MySQL or SQLite and saved to nVault all the time...
will there be a possibility to "copy"/"transform" the XP from a nVault to an SQLite Database? or am i forced to reset all XP when i want to use RC6 ?

Maybe I am not supposed to be saying this, but I will anyways.
1) RC6 will be a different MySQL database structure than pre-RC6.
2) To my knowledge, there is no method of converting nVault to MySQL/SQLite
3) Geesu may convert the old MySQL structure into the new one.
4) I have no knowledge of any attempt on Geesu's part to convert nVault to SQLite/MySQL
Also, can't you give me some time to reply?

If there's sufficient interest I'm happy to code something that will convert player info and races from vault to the new mysql tables. If someone who is familiar with sqlite wants they can modify that for their system.
In the beta forums I've posted some SQL queries which migrate most data from the old mysql db design to the new one. The only thing that's missing is to migrate skills, and tbh, I cbf doing that r.n. Besides, players get all their XP back and just reassign their skills. Big deal.
