Yes, I believe there is a Source version of WC3, but it is not made by Geesu. To upgrade your CS1.6 server to CS:S, you would have to do a complete reinstall of the server to get CS:S

sorry i'm new to "starting a online-server by my own" but isn't it enough to download and install steam, go to "games/tools" and install/start "dedicated server" for cs1.6 or "source dedicated server" for cs:s ?

Using the tool from the Steam client means that you must have that computer on and the server running whenever you want the server to be up. Also, using that tool mainly means that you will be playing on the same comp the server is running on.

Whereas the hldsupdatetool program is used on computers that typically are just used for servers. When you rent a server, the company is using the hldsupdatetool to run it.

@h4mm3r0g0d: There is only one tool to install servers. You just change the -game parameter for different games.
Examples:
For CS1.6
-game "cstrike"

For CS:CZ
-game "czero"

For CS:S
-game "Counter-Strike Source"

For DoD
-game "dod"
