Can someone post the complete NOOBS guide to modding? Also how to open ports for server hosting.. >.> sorry im a noob at this but not the game

I've been wanting to do a WC3 Mod on eigther 1.6 or source and I'ma do it on 1.6, so please post the complete noobs guide to installion and files I need. (Please include screenys so I don't get TOO confused)
